I also think this game is a good game to - is it $30 good? It is for me, but I can see it not being for someone else (Mainly because for PC gamers. You can really customize the inside and your farm in general. Festivals are very straight forward (Nice presentation generally though). There are only really a handful of secrets and they didn't do anything useful when I finished it. But give a lot customzation thats fun to work through(its biggest draw imo). They also trivialize farming (which is probably the biggest negitve to Stardew for me, since farming is the primary draw for me). An only one big choice - that isn't much of a choice. but the characters are very boring imo (none of them genuinely appealed to me). Regardless.Īs said Stardew Valley is a good game( It's certainly 15$ good). and i have to much nostalgia for that one. I think FoMT is far better then 64 personally. I don't think your going to like any modern HM game enough. The graphics, most festivals, and even some characters are so strongly similar you’d be amazed.īased on your post. You inherit a farm from your grandpa who’s ghost comes back to judge you. SDV beats HM64 simply because it has more quality of life features and adds in some of rune factory’s combat with a few unique twists. It’s actually where I got into Harvest Moon at. Wasn’t a huge jet force fan myself, but I did enjoy a large 64 library. I would like to hear from others, though, but it looks like this HM title falls short. Thanks again for answering my questions (sort of). Especially Jet Force Gemini and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, quite possibly the two best video games ever made. Man, I'd love to see some of my favorite classic titles brought into the modern era. That's a problem whenever a seasoned gamer plays titles that likely rely on the gamers being to young to remember the originals. I get the feeling it'd take some seriously hardcore HM64 fans to top HM64.
